About me

 

For as long as I can remember I have loved animals and have grown up with a family Game Farm (and pets) for most of my life. This has instilled a passion in me, for capturing nature and wildlife.I live an active life whether I am hiking, playing hockey or on an adventure with friends and family. So, when I picked up a camera it was only a matter of time before I started capturing nature, landscapes, macro objects and travel shots on my adventures. I have completed a few photography courses, but realise that I learn the most by trial and error out in the field. Experience is what has molded me into a passionate outdoor photographer, with a huge amount of respect for my subjects, because after all we are only there to observe nature. My family has owned a Game farm (no big 5) since 2005, and that is where my love for wildlife photography started. This passion has grown from there, to landscape, macro and travel photography. I have worked at an adventure photography company (AdventureLife SA) as a content creator, social media manager and assistant photographer.  I work part time at a school where I have taken action photos of various sporting events for them. I also work as a subcontractor for a property photography company, mainly in the Knysna/Brenton area.
